'Darel Douglas Burk, was born January 12, 1936 in Kellogg Iowa, the son of the late Wilbern and Cordie Gregory Burk. He departed this life, Friday, September 13, 2019 at Norton Health Care in Louisville reaching an age of 83 years.
To this union was born the following full brothers and sisters: Ressie Lewellen, Rettie Burk, Tom, Ray, Larry and Maurice Burk.
Cordie Burk passed away and Wilbern married Martha Coffey Burk and to this union survives: Allen Burk, Judy Young, Gene Burk, Bertie McCutchen, Donald Ray Burk, Dorothy Calhoun, Rosetta Worley, Jerry Burk and Savanah Jones. Preceding in death are: Randel, Charlie and Tim Burk.
He leaves to mourn his passing not only his family but a good friend "Bud" who Darel had stayed with for many years. The family is grateful for Bud.
Darel has been in bad health for almost two years. He said he had made things right with the Lord and was ready to Go.',
