Darrell Lynn Jones of Monticello, Kentucky was born August 23, 1960, and departed this life Saturday, November 5, reaching the age of 62 years. He was the husband of Rita Jones and the son of the late Teddy and Hazel Bell Jones.

Along with his wife Rita, he is survived by one daughter; Melinda Jones, one son; Kevin Darrell Jones, and three grandchildren; Noah Jones, Jr. Jones, and Makayla Jones.

Darrell had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9th from 12PM until 1PM in the funeral home chapel with funeral services following at 1PM. Burial will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Darrell Jones Memorial Fund care of Hickey Funeral Home.
