Obituary
'Della Melinda Abbott Roberts was born April 17th, 1928 in Jones Hollow in McCreary County, the last surviving member of the late Perry and Kizzie Worley Abbott family, and passed away Thursday, September 29th at the Wayne County Hospital reaching the age of eighty-eight years.
On March 23rd, 1951 she was united in marriage to Hobert Roberts, who survives. To this sixty-five-year union three children survive; Linda and her husband John Tucker, Sheila and her husband Russell Gregory and Gayson Roberts along with five grandchildren; Karla Misinay, Jeffery Tucker, Kendra Whitehead, Kyle and Kirby Gregory and five great grandchildren; Tobias Misinay, Karmai Misinay, Riley Foster, Kaylee June Tucker and Kinzie Mae Whitehead.
She is preceded in death by her son; Kenny Roberts and five siblings; Eva and Lola Jones, Cordius, Raymond and Delbert Abbott.
Della had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
