'Delma Smith Criswell, age 71 was born July 27, 1941 the daughter of the late Wonzie and Eva Taylor Smith. She departed this life Wednesday afternoon at her home.

On September 7, 1957 she united in marriage with her husband Dillard Criswell. To this union five children were born: Margaret Foster, Richard, Kenneth, Terry and Brian Criswell.

Also surviving are her siblings: Hershel Smith, Wanda Marcum and Joyce Dobbs: Seven grandsons: Jason Foster, Stephen, Justin, Camedon and Brandon Criswell, Justin Launderdale, Austin Criswell and four granddaughters: Britney Nicole, Sierra Dawn, Jessica Hope and Samatha LaShey Criswell and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: her twin, Elma Jones, Elward Lee Smith, Inus Criswell and three infant sisters.

Delma had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and became a member of the Big Springs Baptist Church.
