Delores Coffey Smith was born October 21, 1941, and departed this walk of life Monday, August 4, 2025, reaching the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late George Samuel Coffey and Dorothy Mae Patton.

She is survived by her sons: Eric Smith (Tracy) and Greg Smith; Grandchildren: Sheena Smith, Stevie Smith, Danae Smith, Lawton Smith and Marley Smith. Great Grandchildren: Amari Smith, Riley Smith, Zachary McCalvin, Kathryn Grace McCalvin, and Victoria Smith. Brothers: George Coffey and Lemuel Coffey; Sisters: Eva Coffey and Donna Massengill. Along with a host of family and friends that mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents: George and Dorothy Coffey; she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 50 years: Walter Lee Smith Jr.; Sisters: Rita Wilkerson and Dorothy Yvonne Bertram; and sister-in-law, Mildred Coffey.

Delores cherished her frequent walks along Carmel Beach in California, finding peace in its gentle waves and endless horizons. At home, she lovingly tended to her houseplant collection and delighted in nurturing the flowers in her yard, each blossom a testament to her care and devotion.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
