'Delta Marie Martin Branscum, age 89 was born May 24, 1923 in the Denney community of Wayne County, the daughter of the late Richard \u0027Dick\u0027 and Mertie Maxwell Martin. She departed this life Wednesday morning, October 24th, 2012 at the home of her daughter Audrey.

On July 8, 1946 she united in marriage with Fordie Eldon Branscum who passed away September 16, 2005. To this 59 year union ten children survive, three daughters: Barbara Ann Ford; Audrey Jones and Lavon Gregory and seven sons: Fordie Junior; Millard; Gary; Dinsel; Gordon; Ricky and Stevie Branscum. Two children passed away in infancy: Boyce and Walter Thomas Branscum.

Also surviving are 30 grandchildren: 31 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was the last surviving member of the Dick Martin family being preceded in death by her sisters: Hazel Tucker and Flora Jones and half-brother; Arlin Dick.

Mrs. Branscum had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a lifetime member of the Clay Hill Baptist Church.
