Obituary
'Dennis Gary Coffey Sr was born February 4th, 1946 the son of the late Osro and Opal Taylor Coffey. He departed this life Thursday morning, March 8th at his home surrounded by his family reaching an age of 72 years.
On July 26, 1968 he united in marriage with his wife of 49 years, Stella Mae Godsey Coffey. To this union three sons survive: Dennis and his wife Angi Coffey Jr., George and his wife Carol Coffey and Jaime and wife Bobbie Coffey.
Also surviving are his grandchildren: Adrienne, Adam, Andrew, Alizabeth, Torri Ryan and Nathan; and siblings: Velma Sue Correll, Kermit, Roland and Arnold Coffey.
His is preceded in death by his siblings: Dallas, Leonard and three infant brothers: Preston, Roy and Henderson.
Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army and the owner of Coffey Monument. As a young man he had accepted Christ as his Savior and became a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and was a member of the Clay Hill Baptist Church at the time of his passing.',
