'Dillard Samuel Criswell was born February 1st, 1940 in Wayne County to the late Gilbert and Cecil Eaton Criswell and passed away Tuesday, January 2nd, 2018 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital reaching the age of seventy-seven years.
On September 7th, 1957 he united in marriage to Delma Louise Smith Criswell, who passed away June 26th, 2013, and to this fifty-five-year union five children survive; Margaret and her husband Wayne Foster, Richard and his wife Jessica, Kenneth and his wife Paula, Terry and Brian and his wife Crystal along with his sister; Brenda Sue Upchurch and his brother; Bobby Criswell. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; Stephen, Justin, Camedon, Brandon, and Austin Criswell, Justin Lauderdale, Britney Nicole Reynolds, Sierra Dawn Stinson, Jessica Hope and Samantha LaShey Criswell and ten great-grandchildren; Emma, Alvivia, Mackenzie, Jonathan and Trinity Criswell, Dakota and Dontay Reynolds, Tim, Jr., Teddy and Titus.
He is preceded in death by his sisters; Josie Perkins and Ollie Campbell and his brother; Dewey Criswell.
Dillard had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church and was attending the Big Springs Baptist Church.',
