Doris Faye Foster of Monticello, Kentucky was born June 23,1938 and departed this life Sunday, July 23, 2023, reaching the age of 85 years. She was the wife of the late Harlan Foster and daughter of the late Edgar and Edith Neal Brewster.

She is survived by two daughters; Shirley Joan (Carl) Smith, Elizabeth Ann (Michael) Dunagan, two sons; Harlan Ward (Sue) Foster, Raymond Wayne (Margaret) Foster, three sisters; Wanda Mae Dishman, Gail Lester, Lena Brewster Lewis, one brother; Kenneth Ray Brewster, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters; Elma Brown, Norma June Roberts, Edith Evelyn Brewster, Patty Davis, and two brothers; Carl Brewster and Lyle Brewster.

Doris had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and attended the Missouri Hollow Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 27th, from 12PM until 2PM in the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 2PM.  Burial will be in the Grant Roberts Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to the Doris Foster Memorial Fund at the funeral home.
