'Doris Elaine Jones Johnson, age 79 was born in the Jones Hollow community of McCreary County, May 8, 1936 the daughter of the late Marvin and Opal Corder Jones. She departed this life, Sunday, July 26, at the Wayne County Hospital.

On June 6, 1958 she united in marriage with Manley Johnson who passed away January 16, 1992. To this union two children survive: Jeffery Johnson and Judith Price. Her infant daughter, Cynthia Johnson precedes her in death.

Also surviving are her grandchildren: Nathan and Natalie Price; and her siblings: Josephine Mann, Violet McCarson, Linda Dishman, Lyla Bryan, Candace Cairnes, Elizabeth Miller, George, Gary and Randy Jones. Her brother: Gene Jones precedes her in death.

As a young lady she accepted Christ as her Savior and became a member of the Big Sinking Baptist Church and was a member of the Etowah Baptist Church at the time of her passing.
