Obituary
'Doris Ann Troxell Jones was born August 23rd, 1939 in Wayne County to the late Virgil Oren and Pearl Marie Troxell and departed this life Tuesday, June 23rd at her home, reaching the age of seventy five years.
On April 14th, 1957 she united in marriage with James Wiley Jones and to this fifty eight year union three children survive; Mary Ann and her husband John Ferrell, James Lynn and his wife Judy Jones and Ralph Wayne Jones. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Blaine Jones, Elaine Hersley, Tabitha Dishman, Brandon Jones and Joshua Jones along with seven great grandchildren. She also left to mourn her passing two sisters; Mae Piercy and Betty Coffey and two brothers; Teddy and Pierce Troxell along with several nieces and nephews.
Doris was a loving and devoted wife and loved to spend hours at a time sewing clothing and quilting. She had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.

5 to 9 PM Thursday in the Funeral Home Chapel
