'Doris Irene Dobbs Kidd was born January 23, 1932, the daughter of the late Delbert M. Dobbs and Derlie Ethel Gibson Dobbs Vincent. She passed away suddenly at the Emergency Room of the Wayne County Hospital, Friday April 16th, 2010.

On October, 13, 1947 she united in marriage with Vester -Bud- Kidd who passed away December 5, 1992. To this 45 year union two sons survive; Danny Kidd of Somerset and Ronnie Kidd of Monticello. Her five month old daughter, Phyllis Jean Kidd precedes her in death.

Also surviving are four grandchildren; Telene Pyles, Renea Hancock, Matthew and Joshua Kidd, four great grandchildren; TaShea Pyles, Ridge Hancock, Temisha Pyles and Riley Hancock: her sisters; Elsie Dobbs and Shirley Stizler and brothers, Billy and Dale Dobbs with a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.

Doris had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and attended the Monticello Baptist Tabernacle Church.
