Obituary
'Earl Edwin Smith, age 70 was born in Wayne County, March 16, 1937 the son of the late Rufus and Ruth Burnett Smith. He lost his fight with cancer, Tuesday, November 13th at the Wayne County Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Overton Smith of Monticello; his daughter, Tina and her husband Steve Smith of Washington; brother, Jerry Smith of Melbourne, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Milton, Eugene -Blue-, David and Frank Smith.
Earl had served his country and a member of the Kentucky National Guard was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.

10 AM to 2 PM Friday November 16, 2007 at the Funeral Home

2 PM Friday in the Funeral Home Chapel
