'Edward Carrender, age 76, was born April 22, 1935 the son of the late Essie and Vivian Mae Turpin Carrender. He passed away Tuesday morning, October 18th, at his home in the Meadow Creek community.

He is survived by his wife: Alice Faye New Carrender; four children: Kathleen and her husband Greg Smith; Sharon Faye Carrender; Teresa Gail and her husband Don Rowe and Charles Edward and his wife Jenny Carrender.

Also surviving are eight grandchildren, Clinton; Deanna; Bryan; Brett; Rachel; Russ; Donny and Lisa: six great grandchildren, Kristen; Alex; Alyvia; Lauren; Amelia and Ruby: two sisters, Marie Morrow and Zelma Cooke and two brothers, Ralph and Hulan Carrender.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Stella Mae Robbins and Shirley Morrow and his brothers, Raymond; Robert and Richard Carrender.

Mr. Carrender was a member of UAW 425 and was retired after 30 years of service in the Lorain Assembly Plant in Lorain, Ohio.
