'Effie Allean Buck Dishman, was born September 3, 1946, in the Slick Ford community, the daughter of the late Ellison and Melda Dishman Buck. She passed away Monday, September 25th at the Clinton County Care and Rehab Center in Albany reaching an age of 71 years.

She is survived by her husband, James Perk Dishman and her daughter, Linda Earlene and her husband Richard Rose. She is preceded in death by her infant children: Effie Darlene, James Bruce and James Ralph Dishman.

Also surviving are her grandchildren: Karry (Michael) Hale, Ashley (Shane) Phelps, Matthew Rose and Darla Pyles; great grandchildren: Jason, Christopher, Hayden, Levi, Ayona, AK, Latasha, Branson and Daylon and her siblings: Juanita Dishman, Herlon Buck and Allan Buck.

She is preceded in death by her sisters: Wilma Buck and Elsie Addlean Dishman.

Effie worked for many years as a seamstress in the Clothing Industry. She had accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Highway Holiness Church.
