'Effie Jones, age 89 was born in Wayne County, Sept 27, 1918 the daughter of the late Larry and Thellie Morrow Dunagan. She passed away Tuesday, June 10th at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

She was united in marriage with Herbert Jones who passed away August 16th, 1984. Surviving are four children; Ina Robertson of Bethlehem, Georgia; Judy Carrender of Monticello; Buna Jones of Orlando, Florida; Alene Stewart of Somerset. Her son, Kenneth Jones precedes her in death.

Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; her brother, Norman Dunagan and sister, Evelyn Bertram. Her brother, Leslie Dunagan precedes her in death.

Mrs. Jones was a member of the Meadow Creek Baptist Church.
