­­­­­­­­­­­­­Elke Ruth Ida Dalton was born January 26, 1944, in Giessen, Germany and departed this life, August 5, 2024, reaching the age of 80 years. She was the daughter of the late Fritz and Martha Tiegler

She is survived by 1 Son- Gene Dalton; Grandchildren- Matt Dalton, April Troxell and Bonus Grandson Zack Troxell; Great Grandchildren- Wrenley, Shepherd and Millie, along with a host of family and friends that mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents Fritz and Martha, she was preceded in death by her son- George Dalton and her Sister Doris Tiegler.

She was a loving, Mother, Grandmother and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 5-8 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Memorial services will be held Friday, August 9, 2024, at 12P M at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: Alzheimer's Association and American Cancer Society.
