'Elmo Daniels, age 73 was born May 13, 1937 in the Oil Valley community of Wayne County, the son of the late Estil and Virgil Smith Daniels. He passed away, Sunday, September 5, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.On June 25, 1954 he united in marriage with Violet Burke Daniels who survives. To this union one daughter survives; Lisa Hutchison of Bronston. Her daughter, Colleen Craig passed away in 2001 and her son Jerry Daniels passed away in 1976.Also surviving are four grandchildren; Chuck and his wife Kim Craig, Melissa and her husband Rex Cassidy, Stacey and her husband Chris Evans and Jeremy and his wife Stacey Jo Hutchison; four great grandchildren, Garrett, Collin, Emmary and Eyan; and his sisters, Brenda Daniels and Joyce Keith. His brother Wilroe also precedes him in death.Elmo was a retired lumber grader, musician and member of the Monticello Church of Christ
