Emeleen B. Jones was born June 16 ^th , 1928 and departed this life Tuesday, October 12 ^th , 2021 reaching the age of 93 years.  She was the widow of Cecil Jones who passed away October 6, 1997 and daughter of the late Lucian W. and Ethel Kidd Burke.

She is survived by three sons: Randy A. (Vonda) Jones, Rocky A. (Gleta) Jones, Anthony G. Jones, five daughters; Janice Kammer (friend Ray), Alma J. (James) Koontz, Loretta J. (the late Wayne) Watters, Lorene (the late Kenneth) Haynes, April L. Jones, one brother; Lucian Allen Henry Burke, two sisters; Alma Dean Bishop and Teresa West, twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Cecil Jones, she was preceded in death by two daughters; Brenda Maxwell and Doris Koger, three brothers; Sylvester Burke, Lester O. Burke, James Burke, one infant brother; Warren Burke, two sisters; Janette McDonald, Hazel Jones Vaughn, and one infant sister; Doris Jean Burke.

Emeleen had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Concord Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, her husband, and her children. She also loved to garden, fishing, sewing, canning, and crocheting.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 15 ^th between 5PM and 8PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 16 ^th at 11AM the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Anderson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and the Gideons Bible memorial plan.
