Obituary
'Ethel Maxine Phillips was born, March 21, 1929 the daughter of the late Pennycuff Phillips and Nannie Jones Shepherd. She passed away Wednesday, April 30th at the McCreary County Health and Rehabilitation Center reaching an age of 85 years.
She is survived by four daughters: Donna Cox, Lainie Branscum, Sylvia Love and Judy Keith. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Alan and Joshua Branscum, Victoria Love, Stacy Ridner, Christopher Keith and Andrea Love and great grandchildren: Emme and Elle Branscum and very soon, Madison Ridner.
Ethel was the last surviving member of the Pennycuff and Nannie Phillips family. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Stella Roberts, Gilbert, Milford, Hubert, Alfred, Herman and Wilburn Phillips and an infant sister: Nora.
Mrs. Coffey had accepted Christ as her Savior as a young lady and became a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. She was a member of the Wolf Ridge Baptist Church at the time of her passing.
