­­­­­­­­­­­­Eugene Denney was born January 20, 1936, and departed this life Thursday, January 23, 2025, reaching the age of 89 years. He was the son of the late Kelly and Bonnie Denney

He is survived by his sons: Bro. Tim Denney (Robin) and Roger Denney (Diana); Grandchildren: Dewayne Denney, Amy Denney, Jennifer Cadle; Great Grandchildren: Chelsea, Gage, Makayla, Madsion and Nathan. Also surviving him are 2 Great-Great Grandchildren. Along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents Kelly and Bonnie Denney, he was preceded in death his Wife: Bernice Denney; Daughter: Kathy Denney; Sisters: Margie, Lois and Phyllis, along with 2 Grandchildren: Michael Bridgeman and Brian Denney.

Eugene was a longtime member and deacon at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and spent all his working years logging. He was a loving husband, Father, Grandfather and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
