'Evalee Marcum Crabtree was born May 1st, 1933 in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Harrison and Mollie Davis Marcum and passed away August 21st, 2013 reaching the age of eighty years.

On February 6, 1951 she united in marriage with Mintford Crabtree, who survives, and to this sixty-two year union two children survive; Glenna and her husband Dan Boston and Roger and his wife Loretta Crabtree, along with two sisters; Alice and her husband Joe Lewis Crabtree and Kay and her husband Arnold Crabtree and one brother Howard and his wife Hester Marcum. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Kevin and Delana Crabtree, Misty and her husband Ronnie Sexton, Lojuanna and her husband Anthony Hardwick and Mark Boston and five great grand-children; Jordon and Conner Sexton, Samantha Elam, Terrance and Mariah Boston.

She is preceded in death by her siblings; Marie Chriswell, Onabelle Crabtree, Ike, Frank, Gene and Joe Marcum.

Evalee had accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

She will be sadly missed by all of her friends and family that loved her so much.
