'Everett Leman Swift was born August 18, 1944 in Waynesburg, Kentucky the son of the late Charlie Haskel and Annie Moore Swift. He departed this life, Monday, February 15th at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after a long struggle with cancer.
On October 14, 1968 he united in marriage with his wife of 41 years, Fronnia Caroline Pitman Swift, who survives. Surviving are his children; Tanya and her husband John Berry and Tim Swift both of Monticello and Sheila Michno of Baltimore, MD.
Also surviving are his grandchildren; Kaleigh Swift, Jasmine Berry, Becky and Ray Michno; a great granddaughter, Savanah; and his siblings, , Loretta Todd, Christine Swift, Dallas, Hubert, C.W., Gordon and Virgil Swift.
He is preceded in death by a grandson, Alexander Hollars and brother Pete Swift.
Leman logged and farmed and was retired from W\u0026W Hardwoods. He had accepted Christ as his Savior and was a member of the Elk Ridge Baptist Church.
