'Evy Lee Daniel was born, April 20, 1915 in the Mount Pisgah community of Wayne County the daughter of the late John and Canzada Simpson Slagle. She departed this life, Saturday evening at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

Evy Lee was united in marriage with Eb Goodman who passed away in 1954. She later married Woodrow Daniel who passing away in 1998.

Surviving are her children, Faye Cooper and Eugene Goodman both of Monticello; grandchildren, Debbie Lovell and Carolyn Carton; great grandchildren, Brandon Cooper, Robert Harvey and Katlin Gregory; great-great grandchildren, Austin and Ethan Cooper.

Also surviving is her sister, Jean Kell and brother, Henry Slagle, with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She is preceded in death by her grandson, Jerry Goodman; sister, Gertie Upchurch and brothers, Jess, Charlie and Perk Slagle.
