'Franklin D. Roosevelt Dobbs, son of Jeff and Sally Gibson Dobbs, age 82 went home to be with the Lord Monday morning February 26th, 2018 at his home on Lewis Street located in Monticello, Kentucky surrounded by his nieces and sister.
He was preceded in death by his brother Leman Dobbs, sisters; Opal Gregory, Lizzie Inman, Lula Gregory, Eula Pelfrey, and with a surviving sister, Lois Dobbs Bell of Muncie, Indiana.
He was born in the Griffin Community of Wayne County on February 14, 1936. Frank worked at the Monticello Utility Commission for 41 years in Monticello. He loved to go to the Diary Queen bright and early in the morning, as well as that, he loved to tell stories about his home community, Griffin.
Frank had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was a member of the Green Hill Baptist Church. He was a staple to the family and especially to his nieces and nephews. He never knew a stranger, he had many friends and loved ones and was loved dearly and will be sadly missed.',
