'Fred Sexton, age 90 was born July 14, 1917 the son of the late Leo and Alice Carrender Sexton. He departed this life, Friday evening, July 14, 1917 at the Cumberland Valley Manor in Burkesville, Kentucky.

On June 6, 1942 he united in marriage with Kathleen Brown Sexton, who passed away January 9, 1997. To this union five children survive; Paula Sexton, Ronnie, Roger, Gary and Terry Sexton. His daughter, Rita Dobbs precedes him in death.

Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and his sister, Lorene Brake of Huntsville, Indiana.

He is also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Fred worked in the lumber industry and was a member of the New Town Baptist Church.
