Obituary

'Freda -Maxine- Bolin Brammer was born May 23, 1936 at Smith Bottom on the Cumberland River in Russell County and departed this life December 13, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Maxine was united in marriage to Perry Brammer on September 22, 1961 and recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary. This union was blessed by two children: Dr. Susan M. Dixson and Jackie K. Brammer both of Monticello. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Shelby Lafferty, Samantha Dixson and Dorian Dixson: 13 step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren,

She is survived by her siblings: Randall Bowlin of the Susie community; Bruce Bolin of Monticello and Dorothy Hack of Morgantown, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her sister: Mary Frances Bolin Bridgman.

Maxine was a faithful and devoted woman of God. She was a member of the Old Glory Baptist Church in her youth and joined the Bethesda United Methodist Church upon her marriage to Perry and was a true and faithful member there until her death.

Words cannot express the void she has left on the lives of her family. She was devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friends. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
