'Gary Gene Young was born in Wayne County August 16th, 1950 to the late William Robert and Ethel Higgs Young and passed away at his home in the Number One Community Tuesday afternoon reaching the age of sixty-two years.

Gary united in marriage to his loving wife, Gladys Cheek Young, who survives, on April 7th, 1975. He is also survived by his sons; Shawn of Monticello and John Young of Cincinnati, Ohio, his sisters; Joyce Kennedy of Monticello, Kate Sweet and Linda Aldridge both of California and his brother Zina Young of Indiana and his grandchildren; Harley, Makayla, Fallon, R.J., Austin, Hunter and William Young.

He is preceded in death by his son, Nicky Young, who passed away April 13th, 2011 and survived by Nicky\u0027s wife, Karla Young. He is also preceded in death by his siblings; Vivian Issac, LaVonne Boyd and Donald Young.

Gary had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and enjoyed listening to gospel music and people stopping by his home and sharing God\u0027s word.

He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends that loved him so much.
