General Dishman was born June 18, 1945 in Monticello, KY and departed this life Monday, April 13, 2020 reaching the age of 74 years. He was the son of (the late) Herbert and Ada (Stinson) Dishman.

He married Nancy (Dishman) Dishman who proceeded him in death.

He is survived by: friend, Nettie Bell, 4 brothers, Arnold (Antha) Dishman, Tim (Donna) Dishman, Kenny Dishman and Donnie (Irene) Dishman; 3 sisters, Ledith Dishman, Lexie Neal and Lottie (David) Guffey; special brother-in-law, David (Brenda) Dishman; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Herbert and Ada Dishman, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Nancy Dishman; 1 brother, Lonzo Dishman; and 1 sister, Melissa Peavie.

He was a loving brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, and upon recommendations from the CDC for Funeral Homes, a PRIVATE funeral service will be held for General Dishman.
