Obituary
'Geneva Ann Powell Denney was born December 16, 1939 the daughter of the late Hubert F. and Effie Simpson Powell. She departed this life Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2017 at the Wayne County Hospital reaching an age of 77 years.
On May 31, 1957, she united in marriage with Boyce Denney who survives. To this union one son survives, Douglas Ray Denney.
Also surviving is her sister: Kathleen Burkhart and H.M. Powell. He brother, James Powell precedes her in death.
As a young lady she accepted Christ as her Savior and became a member of the Parmley\u0027s Grove Baptist Church and a member of the Big Sinking Baptist Church since 1973.
