'George Howard Cowan, age 53 was born in Wayne County July 6, 1954 the son of the late Jay Lee and Pauline Beatrice Ingram Cowan. He passed away Monday, September 3, 2007 at the Wayne County Hospital.
On October 2, 1976 he united in marriage with Bridget Ingram Cowan, who survives. To this union three sons survive; George Lamont Cowan, Ron Christopher Cowan and Isaiah Travis Cowan.
