George Lewallan Dennis of Monticello, Kentucky, uncle of Alice Upchurch-James, was born April 9 ^th ,1932 and departed this life October 25 ^th ,2021 reaching the age of 89 years. He was the son of the late General and Gertie Wallace Dennis.

He is survived by one sister; Louise Foster.

He was preceded in death by four brothers; William Jr. Dennis, Robert Dennis, Howard Dennis, and Snooks Dennis, and three sisters; Carrie Turner, Hylee Sweet, and Flonzie Dennis.

George was of the Baptist Faith.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 27,2021 at 1PM at the Hilltop Cemetery in Monticello, Ky.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Hilltop Cemetery in memory of George Dennis.
