'Georgia Elizabeth Cooper Robes, age 95 was born in the Mt. Pisgah Community of Wayne County, July 24th, 1917 the daughter of the late Alfred and Martha Hurt Cooper. She departed this life Sunday morning, March 24th at her home in the Oil Valley Community.

On July 29, 1939 she united in marriage with Harry Roberts who passed away June 17, 1975. To this union six children survive: Paul Roberts; Carol Roberts; Mary Lois Roberts; Ralph Roberts; Glen Roberts and Rita Patton.

Also surviving are ten grandchildren: Melissa Morris; Sara Roberts; Amy Morris; Susan Robert; Jason Roberts; Melanie Roberts; Emily Roberts; Maria McFarland; Rachael Vaughn and John Patton; 10 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Mrs. Roberts is the last surviving member of the Alfred Cooper family. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Clarence Cooper; Woodrow Cooper; Roy Cooper; Marie Keeton; Roxie Ramsey; Lexie Elam and Anna Lee Cooper.

As a young lady of 15 Mrs. Roberts accepted Christ as her Savior and became a lifetime member of the Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church
