Glasco Coffey was born March 2, 1941, and departed this life Tuesday, January 9, 2024, reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of (the late) Rosco Coffey and Ruby (Watson) Meredith.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Coffey; 2 sons, Randle Coffey, and Jason Coffey; 2 daughters, Shirley Russell and Marilyn Gehring; 3 brothers, Jerry Matthews, George Matthews, and Jimmy Coffey; 1 sister, Faye Dobbs; and 11 grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Rosemary Coffey; and numerous siblings. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 12th, 2024, from 11 AM – 1 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 12th, 2024, at 1 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dobbs Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Glasco Coffey Memorial Fund.
