'Glenna Faye Koger Haynes was born April 23, 1938 in the Parmleysville community of Wayne County, the daughter of the late Clyde and Ollie Mae Maxwell Koger. She departed this life Friday morning, December 4th at her home in the Concord community, reaching an age of 77 years.

On October 3, 1959 she united in marriage with her husband of fifty-six years, Lawrence Haynes who survives. To this union one son was born, Kenneth Haynes who passed away October 17, 1998.

She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Lorene Haynes; grandchildren: Alyssa Faith Stump and Aaron Christian Haynes; great grandson, Owen Stump; and her brothers: Russell and Jack Koger.

Glenna served her community as a teacher in the Wayne County School System and served her Lord as a member of the Old Bethel Baptist Church.
