Gordon Wade Thompson was born January 24, 1965 and departed this life Wednesday, September 30, 2020 reaching the age of 55 years. He was the son of (the late) Floyd and Mary Jane (Barnett) Thompson.

He is survived by: 2 sons, Blake Thompson (companion, Felicia Richards) and Dustin Thompson; 1 brother, Paul Thompson; and 3 grandchildren, Dakota Thompson, Jayden & Hayden Dishman; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Joe Thompson.

He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 1 pm at the Dick Cemetery with burial to follow.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Gordon Thompson Memorial Fund, c/o Hickey Funeral Home.
