'Hallis Knox Koger was born March 20th, 1943 in the Parmleysville Community of Wayne County to the late Arnold and Myrtie Gregory Koger and passed away Saturday evening at his home reaching the age of seventy-four years.
He has left behind his wife, Jo Carol Koger, his sister, Joyce and her husband Jack Eller, his niece Tabby and her husband Jimmy Bewley and his step-sons, Jason and wife Sandra Gregory and Justin and his wife Josephine Gregory.
After retiring from the Chrysler Corporation, Hallis enjoyed being a cattle farmer and tending to his gardening.
Hallis had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a member of the Bethel United Baptist Church at Parmleysville.',
