Hannelore Elise Peyton was born January 14, 1936 in Berlin, Germany and departed this walk of life Monday, May 12, 2025 in Grandview, MO, reaching the age of 89 years. She was the daughter of the late Helmet Schmidt.

She is survived by her sons, David Peyton, and Mike Peyton; grandchildren: Mike Peyton Jr, Raquel Peyton and Jaquelyn Peyton; along with one great grandchild, Jaqson Guess-Peyton; and one sister, Karin Clements. Along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Thadeus "Junior" Peyton along with one brother, Herbert Bartchi.

She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 9 AM – 10 AM in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10 AM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Kendrick Cemetery.
