'Harold Cecil Reagan was born December 27, 1920 in Jamestown, Tennessee the son of the late Ogle and Ardelia Wood Reagan. He departed this life Monday, June 13, 2016 in the St. Thomas-Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, reaching an age of 95 years.
On September 5, 1947 he united in marriage with, Cleda Wright Reagan, who survives. To this 69-year union one daughter, Janet and her husband Richard LaLance, survives. His son, Donald Reagan passed away in 1977.
Also surviving is his grandson, Rod and his wife Rae Pencek; three great grandsons: Christian, Dylan and Jack Pencek; three brothers, three sisters and many loving nieces and nephews.
Harold resided in Monticello since 1949 and was employed for over 30 years by Suburban Propane. He had served his country with honor during the Second World War and entered France on Normandy Beach during the Battle for Europe where he received a Purple Heart. He was an avid fisherman, and took great pride in his garden each year, and was well known as a resourceful friend and neighbor that could fix or repair everything. Harold had accepted Christ as his Savior and had been a member of the First Baptist Church since he moved to Monticello.
