'Helen Evelyn Corder Ramsey, was born July 28, 1922, in the Rankin community of Wayne County, the daughter of the late James Milton and Dina Walker Corder. She departed this life, Thursday, March 7, 2013, at the Wayne County Hospital after an extended illness at the age of, 90.

In June of 1954 she united in marriage with Bro Glen Ramsey who survives. To this 58 year union one son survives: Paul Douglas and his wife Jeanie Ramsey of Cynthiana and a grandson: Christopher Paul and wife Marisa Ramsey of Russell Springs. Also surviving are three great grandchildren: Cade Andrew; Jackson Paul and Abigail Evelyn Ramsey and two sisters: June Guffey and Nancy Higginbotham.

She is preceded in death by her sister: Mary Ruth Simpson and brothers: Randal and Ray Corder.
