Hershel Clay Pyles age 75 of Monticello, KY passed away Tuesday, June 15,2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born May 27,1946 in Wayne County, Kentucky, the son of the late Willie (Bill) and Nannie Hicks Pyles.

He is survived by his wife, Lucy Boles Pyles, four sons; Keith, Joshua, Zachary (fiancé Rachel), and Isiaha Pyles, one daughter; Susan (William) New, five brothers; Dee (Leta), Clyde (Darlene), Kenneth ( Illa), Roger (Jan), and Gary (Theresa) Pyles, six sisters; Pearl (Fount) Dishman, Lisa (Paul) McGinnis, Jewel (Barry) McGinnis, Judy (Dennis) Stinson, Mary (Arnold) McGinnis, and  Brenda (Boyce) Carter, nine grandchildren; Leah, Brantley, Kaden, Eli, Shondra, Jessica, Cory, Cody, and Chancie.

He was preceded in death by two sisters; Ruby Rednour, and Linda May Pyles.

The Family will receive friends on Saturday, June 19 ^th ,2021 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 19 ^th ,2021 at 2:00 PM at the Hickey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Scott Jones officiating.  Burial will be in the Pyles Cemetery.
