'Hobert Stanley Roberts was born May 4, 1927 in McCreary County, Kentucky to the late Joe K. and Emma Jane Coffey Roberts and passed away Wednesday night at his home reaching the age of ninety - one years.
On March 23rd, 1951 he united in marriage with Della Abbott Roberts who precedes him in death. To this sixty - five year union three children survive; Linda and her husband John Tucker, Sheila and her husband Russell Gregory, and Gayson Roberts along with five grandchildren; Karla Misinay, Jeffery Tucker, Kendra Whitehead, Kyle and Kirby Gregory and five great grandchildren; Tobias Misinay, Karmai Misinay, Riley Foster, Kaylee Tucker, and Kenzie Mae Whitehead.
Also surviving are his siblings; Clara Jones, Nellie Foster, and Barbara Gregory.
He is preceded in death by his son; Kenny Roberts, 3 grandchildren; Barry, Carrie, and Sherrie Roberts. Also preceding him in death is six siblings; Kathleen Burke, June Foster, Jewellene, Jack, David, and Roosevelt Roberts.
Hobert had accepted Christ as his savior and was the oldest member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church.',
