'Imogene Morrow Dick was born July 15, 1928 in the Big Sinking community of Wayne County, Kentucky, and departed this life on June 15, 2015 at the age of 86.

She was the oldest daughter of Ulysses Edwin Morrow and Dorothy Roberts Morrow, who both preceded her in death. She graduated from Wayne County High School, attended Lindsey Wilson College, and graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in Elementary Education.

In 1948, she married Emerson Reagan Dick who passed away in 1975. To this union, two children survive: Peggy and her husband, Thomas Carroll, and Emerson, Jr. and his wife Thomasine York Dick. A daughter, Karen Lynne, died at birth in 1957.

Imogene\u0027s sister, Joyce Morrow Denney, preceded her in death. Three sisters survive: Helen Tanner, Carolyn Cochran, and Linda Dalton.

She is survived by three grandchildren: Jonathan Reagan Dick (Marcia), Elizabeth Carroll Miller (Derek), and Matthew Thomas Dick (Lauren). Also surviving are four great-grandchildren: Braxton Reagan Dick, Brody William Dick, Henry Tate Dick, and Nora Jane Dick. She is survived by many special nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She taught school for 42 years beginning in 1946 and retiring in 1990. She taught at Cedar Hill, Raleigh Creek, Big Sinking, Independence, Old Glory, and Wayne County Elementary #1. She taught the Women\u0027s Sunday School Class at Big Sinking Church, where she attended since childhood and had been a member since 1942, until her health started to fail.

Imogene enjoyed her Bible study, needlework, reading, gardening, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.

She will be greatly missed.
