'Ina Lee Alley Southwood, age 92, was born in the Parnell community, October 16, 1917 the daughter of the late Willie and Susie Russell Alley. She departed this life Tuesday morning, September 28th, 2010 at the Wayne County Hospital after an extended illness.

She was united in marriage with Hughie Earl Southwood who passed away July 9, 1950. To this union three children survive; Anna Louise Edwards and Mary Jo Southwood both of Monticello and Truman Southwood of Blue Eye. Missouri. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Donaldson and her son, Henry Southwood.

Also surviving are her grandchildren; Bobby Gale Edwards, Douglas, Jennifer and Todd Donaldson, Stephanie Haston and Anthony Truman Southwood; her great grandchildren, Jeremy, Matthew, Katie and Cassandra, Sean and Helena Donaldson, Hunter Southwood, Kayla Haston, Franz, Kimberly and Alvik Ibisate.

She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Bascom and Tom Alley and an infant sister, Molly Ellen Alley.

Mrs. Southwood had accepted Christ as her Savior in September of 1932 and was a lifetime member of the Parnell Baptist Church
