'Jack Ramsey Corder, age 87 was born in Wayne County, September 24th, 1921, the son of the late Robert Elmer and Lois Ramsey Corder. He lost his valiant battle with cancer, Sunday morning, March 8th at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

On February 27th, 1948 he united in marriage with his bride of 61 years, Doris Inez Dunagan Corder. To this union one son survives; Ronnie and his wife Diane Corder.

Also surviving is his grandson, Jack Ryan Corder; step grandson, Brian Alexander; step-granddaughter, Sarah Smith; His great-step grandson, Ethan Cole Smith and his sister, Winnie Burton and some special life long friends, Glyncon and Charlie.

His brother, R.E. Corder, precedes him in death.

Mr. spent his life working on the farm, his hands close to God-s creation. He served his Lord as a member of the Lockett-s Chapel United Methodist Church.
