Jackie Denney of Monticello, Kentucky was born May 11,1957 and departed this life Thursday, January 12,2023 reaching the age of 65 years. He is the son of the late Gilbert and Elsie Leffew Denney.

He is survived his companion of 25 years; Jeanie Thompson, one sister; Kathy Denney, one niece; Emily Denney, and one nephew; Eddie Denney.

Jackie had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and was saved at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  He was also a veteran having served in the United States National Guard.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18th from 11AM until 2PM in the funeral home chapel with funeral services following at 2PM. Burial will be in the Edwards Chapel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Jackie Denney Memorial Fund care of Hickey Funeral Home.
