'James Ogal Burke was born November 10th, 1938 the son of the late Lucian and Ethel Kidd Burke. He departed this life Saturday afternoon at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Unit in Somerset reaching an age of 79 years.
On July 3, 1965 he united in marriage with Doris Jean Worley Burke who survives. To this union two children were born. Surviving is his daughter, Cynthia and her husband Matthew Taylor. His son, Dwayne passed away in 1989.
Also surviving are his granddaughters: Misty and her husband Brandon Upchurch and Kayla Phelan; a great grandson, Dawson Upchurch and his siblings: Allen Burke, Atheleen West, Almadean Bishop, Emmaleen Jones and Hazel Vaughn.
He is also preceded in death by his siblings: Sylvester Burke, Lester Burke, Jeanette Donaldson and two infant siblings, Doris Jean and Warren Burke.
James worked for many years in pipeline construction and had professed his faith in Jesus.',
