Obituary

'James Henderson Parmley, age 83 was born December20, 1926 in the Parnell community of Wayne County, the son of the late Bro. Miles Monroe and Martha Humble Parmley. He passed away Wednesday evening, May 12th, in the Veteran Hospital in Leestown Pike in Lexington.

On January 10th, 1948 he united in marriage with Eva Stinson Parmely who survives. To this 62 year union one daughter survives; Virginia and her husband Jerome Redfearn of Georgetown.

Also surviving are two grandchildren; Marjorie Brady and Martha and her husband Cameron Johnson; three great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Riley Brady and Joe Cameron Johnson. Surviving are sisters, Eva Whitt, Lela Daniels and Jean Britt and brothers, Olan and Donald Parmley.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Mary Smith and brothers, Robert, Johnny and Glenn Parmley.

James served his country with honor during the Second World War and served his Lord as a faithful member of the Taylor-s Grove Baptist Church.

Saturday from 5 to 7 in the Funeral Home and Sunday from 1 to 2 at the Church
