'James Samuel Riddle was born April 12, 1923 in Clinton County the son of the late JC and Martha Albertson Riddle. He passed away Sunday evening April 8th at the Wayne County Hospital reaching an age of 94 years.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews: Sula Mink, Bobby and Calvin Sexton, Sue and Roger Riddle, Earlene Foster, Gary Piercy and Donnie Upchurch with several great and great-great nieces and nephews to mourn his passing. A niece, Delia Frances Simpson precedes him in death.
He was the last surviving member of the JC and Martha Riddle family. He is preceded in the by his siblings: Delia Clemons, Evert Riddle, Wanda Piercy and two infants, Maudean and Coyin Riddle.
James had made Christ his Lord and attended the Keens Chapel United Methodist Church and later the Bethesda United Methodist Church.',
