Obituary
'Bro. James Wesley Stinson was born in Wayne County February 18th, 1925 to the late Tom and Lola Brown Stinson and passed away Wednesday, August 21st, 2013 reaching the age of eighty-eight years.
He united in marriage to Mossie McGinnis, whom proceeds him in death, and to this union three children survive; Verdie L. and her husband Ray Bertram, Jewell D. and her husband Elmer Lowe and Virgil W. and his wife Zelma Stinson along with two sisters; Elvie and Thelma Stinson and four brothers; William, Gleason, Willard and Elam Stinson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son; Gerald D. Stinson and two sisters; Rosie Hicks and Alvie Crabtree.
Bro. Stinson had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior many years ago and had preached the word in many churches in Wayne and surrounding counties.
He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends that loved him so much.
